Born in Lagos State, Nigeria, Hon. Chief Ewelike Anthony Ebere, Ph.D., is an indigene of Oforola in Olaukwu Autonomous Community, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.
He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). In 2020, he earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Uyo and later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environment and Development from the University of Uyo.
