The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, 20 February, between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., when the armed men reportedly stormed the village, causing panic among residents.

 

According to local sources, the bandits kidnapped eight (8) people during the operation. One of the victims has been identified as Mr. Joseph, alongside other members of the Gora family. The attackers reportedly moved from house to house before fleeing the area with their victims.

 

Residents described the incident as terrifying, calling on security agencies and government authorities to urgently intervene to secure the release of the abducted victims and prevent further attacks in the area.

 

As of the time of filing this report, no official statement has been released by security agencies, while the community remains in fear and uncertainty.

 

This incident adds to the growing concern over insecurity and banditry affecting rural communities across Kaduna State and parts of northern Nigeria.
