Afrobeats superstar Davido says he is ready to put up $1 million in cash against any colleague who can prove they have more hit songs than him.

LAGOS, NIGERIA — Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reignited the debate over who has the biggest catalogue of hit songs among Nigerian music stars.
Davido made the bold declaration during Darvel’s livestream, challenging any of his colleagues to a cash showdown over their respective hit records.
According to the singer, he is willing to stake $1 million in cash against anyone who believes they have more hit songs than him.
“I’ll put up a million dollars. I’ll do it versus anybody. A million dollars cash. Nobody got more hits than me. Cash,” Davido said.
The declaration has once again sparked discussion among music fans about Davido’s extensive catalogue and his place among Africa’s most successful Afrobeats artists.
Davido has enjoyed a career spanning more than a decade, producing numerous commercially successful songs and collaborations with artists in Nigeria and around the world.
