ASABA, Delta State, Nigeria — Chinyere Gift Nwamaife, popularly known as BigPresh, is a Nigerian content creator, model, influencer, entrepreneur and loctician whose journey has been shaped by creativity, resilience and an enduring passion for entertainment.
Born and raised with roots in Delta State and now based in Asaba, BigPresh has built an emerging personal brand that combines digital content, fashion, beauty, modelling and entrepreneurship.
Her journey into entertainment began long before she became a content creator. According to BigPresh, she discovered her passion for acting at a young age while attending St. Gregory.
During her time in JSS1, she participated in a school performance in which she played the role of an old woman. The performance became an important moment in her life after it earned her a scholarship at the school.
The experience encouraged her to continue participating in school performances. She went on to act in several other school productions and received additional scholarships through her performances. For BigPresh, those early experiences helped her recognize that acting was more than just a school activity—it was a talent that had been part of her life from an early age.
Her childhood, however, was not without challenges. BigPresh lost her father when she was only three years old. Her mother later remarried, and she describes her stepfather as a good man who cared for her and supported the family.
BigPresh also acknowledges that she experienced difficult circumstances while growing up, particularly within her family. Although she is not yet ready to publicly reveal every detail of those experiences, she says they contributed to the strength, independence and determination she developed over the years.
Rather than seeking sympathy, BigPresh views those experiences as part of the journey that shaped her character. She hopes that when she eventually shares the complete story, it will inspire people facing difficult circumstances to remain hopeful and continue pursuing a better future.
Her professional journey has extended beyond entertainment. BigPresh has ventured into different businesses, including the restaurant business, before developing her own brands.
She currently owns BigP’s Thrift, a fashion thrift business through which she sells fashion items and delivers to customers across Nigeria. She is also a loctician, model and influencer.
As a content creator, BigPresh focuses on relatable, entertaining and comedic content that gives her an opportunity to express her personality and creativity. Through consistency, she has continued to grow her online audience, collaborate with other creators and develop her presence as an influencer.
Fashion and modelling are also important parts of her creative identity. Through these areas, she showcases her personal style, personality, creativity and entrepreneurial journey.
Among her milestones, BigPresh considers her ability to build something of her own despite the challenges she has faced as one of her greatest achievements.
From receiving scholarships through acting performances at St. Gregory to establishing businesses and developing her career as a content creator, model and influencer, she sees every stage of her journey as meaningful.
Some of her videos have attracted significant attention online, while collaborations with other creators have contributed to her growing presence in the digital space.
BigPresh is currently focused on expanding her content creation career, modelling and influencing opportunities, growing BigP’s Thrift, pursuing collaborations and strengthening her personal brand.
She also intends to continue developing her acting and entertainment career, an area she says has always been part of her.
Looking ahead, BigPresh wants to become a successful and widely recognized content creator, model, influencer, actress and entrepreneur. She hopes to develop her businesses into bigger brands, reach a wider audience and create opportunities for herself and others.
Beyond the confident and outspoken personality people see online, BigPresh says there is much more to her story. She describes herself as a hardworking woman who has had to figure out many things for herself and believes strongly in independence, consistency and creating opportunities.
She says her past experiences have shaped her but will not determine her future.
As she continues building her career, BigPresh remains focused on personal growth, creativity, business and entertainment, while embracing the journey that has brought her to where she is today.
