Nigerian relationship influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while she remains in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.
The development was made public on Friday evening, September 25, 2026, by Amira Agiye, Chief Executive Officer of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed for public assistance on behalf of Blessing CEO and her family. Multiple Nigerian media outlets have since reported the development.
Agiye said Blessing CEO had authorised her to make the appeal and asked Nigerians to show compassion following the death of the child. She also appealed for financial support to help Blessing CEO meet the conditions attached to her bail and deal with other financial obligations linked to her legal troubles.
In a voice recording played by Agiye, Blessing CEO was reported to have confirmed the death of her son, saying Bryan was full of life before his death and expressing her hope of leaving custody so she could return home and pay her respects to him.
Blessing CEO has remained in custody in connection with legal proceedings over an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud case. Reports state that she was granted ₦20 million bail in July 2026, with two sureties required to provide security in the same amount, but she has remained in custody after reportedly being unable to fulfil the bail conditions.
Agiye’s appeal also included a request for funds to help Blessing CEO satisfy the bail requirements and address other financial claims connected to her legal situation. Some reports put the additional amount sought at ₦36 million, although the present report does not independently verify those financial claims.
The reported death of Bryan has generated reactions across social media, with attention focused on the circumstances facing his mother as she remains in custody. The development comes weeks after Blessing CEO was remanded in the correctional facility.
