The Nigerian singer says he is excited about becoming a father as he and his wife prepare to welcome their first baby.

Nigerian singer and music entrepreneur Mr Eazi has expressed excitement about becoming a father, saying his first child with his wife, Temi Otedola, could arrive at any time.
The singer shared the update during an interview, playfully referring to the expected baby as “Ajibade Junior” and joking that they could even welcome twins. His remark has added to the anticipation surrounding the couple’s transition into parenthood.
Mr Eazi also spoke about the changes that come with starting a family, saying he looked forward to discovering new aspects of his wife as they begin this next chapter together.
“Every time, you get to fall in love with the person again and again, and you get to build with the person, build a life together. So I’m excited about the journey that’s coming,” he said.
The couple announced their pregnancy in May 2026. Temi, the daughter of Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola, and Mr Eazi married in ceremonies held in Monaco, Dubai and Iceland in 2025.
Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, is known for his contribution to Afrobeats and for founding emPawa Africa, a platform that supports emerging African artists.
As the couple awaits the birth of their first child, the singer’s comments offer a glimpse into his excitement about fatherhood. His reference to twins was made jokingly and does not confirm that the couple is expecting more than one baby.
